Dr. Mohammad Rahim Uddin is the Dean of the Faculty of Business and an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU), Bangladesh. He earned his Ph.D. in Management from Çukurova University, Turkey, where his doctoral research focused on leadership and employee evaluation. Before that, he completed his MBA (HRM) and BBA (Management) from the University of Chittagong.
Dr. Uddin’s teaching and research expertise span a broad range of management disciplines, including leadership development, organizational behavior, human resource management, strategic management, and Islamic management practices. Over the years, he has published numerous scholarly articles in reputed international journals, addressing issues such as employee motivation, talent management, work-life balance, green banking, and financial management in Islamic institutions. He also contributed a book chapter on sustainable tourism in Bangladesh, published by Springer, Singapore.
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Uddin serves as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Science at Tarsus University, Turkey, and as a reviewer for the Journal of Applied Research in Higher Education under Emerald Publishing. He has presented research papers at several international conferences in Bangladesh and abroad, contributing to the advancement of management education and research collaboration.
Dr. Uddin is recognized for his commitment to promoting academic excellence, research innovation, and institutional development in business education. His professional engagement reflects a balance between theoretical insight and practical application, aimed at nurturing future business leaders and strengthening the academic community at RMSTU.
